At its heart is a Founders’ Committee made up of passionate local voices who help steer the vision, guide decisions, and keep things moving forward. But every member plays a role — this is a network built on shared ideas, mutual support, and community pride.

Tay Together was born out of countless conversations between local business owners who shared the same thought — we’re stronger when we work together.
What started as a few neighbours chatting about shared challenges quickly grew into a movement. With a mix of passion, purpose, and a deep love for Dundee’s independent scene, we came together to form a grassroots network spanning Tay Street, Tay Square, and Perth Road.
There was no big budget or organisation behind it — just local people, building something real from the ground up.
As one of Dundee’s most distinctive independent restaurants, Don Padrino is proud to be a founding member of Tay Together.

Although no longer on Perth Road and now proudly based on Exchange Street, Don Michele will always be part of the Tay Together family.
